I dedicated the summer of 2020 to learning the design philosophy that Nintendo has when making their 2d Mario levels. I learned about their 3 step process as well as tons of general level design information. I also tried to make every level speedrun friendly, as I saw with Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, it adds a lot more to the gameplay
